Poker strategy

Once you get a grasp of the Poker rules, then you have a better chance of understanding and implementing Poker strategies which have been developed and perfected over the decades. Firstly, you have four rounds before a winner is decided, during which you can employ more than one Poker strategy to eventually win the game. The dealer will assign every player two random cards, also known as the hole cards, which are placed in front of the individual players face down.

After ensuring that each and every player has two hole cards, the dealer will then place two cards face up at the centre of the table. This is the first Poker strategy in a real game scenario. When you check your hole cards, you can compare them to the community cards to ascertain whether you have a realistic chance of landing a winning hand in the game. Every player will compare their hole cards to the community cards to check whether using a combination of both can get them a good hand.

Ascending & Descending Poker Hands

A royal flush is sometimes quite difficult to achieve. Instead, a more realistic move involves players landing a hand containing one suit with card values either in ascending or descending order. For instance, 7,8,9 of Clubs, you then need to decide what Poker strategy would be helpful.

So, landing any run of cards in an ascending order of 5, 6, 7 or a descending order of 8, 7, 6 can create a possible winning hand if they are in the same suit such as Hearts or Diamonds.

If such a combination is present in the community cards and your hole cards are either 3,4 or 5,4 respectively, then you can complete a straight flush and win the game in the first round.
